1)    Zone Diet Works

1) My name is Christina N. and I am a huge fan of the Zone "diet"! I have recently lost 99lbs and approximately 50 lbs. of that I contribute in part to the Zone "diet". I first started researching the Zone "diet" last November when I was getting frustrated by the low calorie diet that I was on. I was never satisfied after I ate and I would just think about how hungry I was until the next time I ate.

The Zone "diet" really changed the way I thought about food and I immediately started losing more weight. I don't really consider the Zone a diet because to me it has been a lifestyle change that is really easy to adopt. I have just learned to eat healthier and try more foods that I otherwise would never have tried!

One main aspect that I love is that the Zone "diet" is so easily accessible! During my prior research, I noticed that many diets will not give you much information unless you sign up and pay for their information and services, but with the Zone website you have everything you need and all the information you could want!

I very much recommend the Zone for anyone who doesn't want a fad diet, who actually wants to be healthier and change their life forever!!

2)     I Owe it All To the Zone Diet

I was one of the lucky ones who never had a weight problem, was always active (a former ballerina, and you know how neurotic they are about their weight) and always maintained a health-conscious diet. A life-long size 4 or 6, it seemed there was nothing to be concerned about.

Just because I believed in it, I followed the Ornish eating program (super low fat, low protein, high complex carbs) and was amazed to see my triglycerides soar. Still, once I entered my 40's I was annoyed to see a layer of fat (thin, but fat anyway) that started to stick stubbornly to my behind and thighs no matter how hard I exercised. Even regular weight training and intense cardiovascular workouts lasting several hours did nothing to budge the pudge. Deprivation diets left me cranky and hungry and after a mighty struggle I made it down to 121 pounds (I'm 5' 6") only to regain the weight rapidly. I seemed stuck at about 127 pounds, although my body fat was still relatively low.

After seeing my husband literally melt away his body fat after two months on the Zone, (and, I admit it, laughing at him for weighing his food) I decided to try it myself. I started after Thanksgiving of last year and in a matter of 4-5 weeks I had lost eight pounds of fat. The pants that had started to become uncomfortably snug no longer fit--because they were too loose--and I have had to go out and buy new pants for my wardrobe. My muscle tone is strikingly improved--my trainer says I look "ripped" , and people who haven't seen me for awhile say "Wow!". All this without hunger, deprivation, or unhealthy eating habits. By the way, my menstrual periods, always painful, are now hardly noticeable--I have sustained energy throughout the day, and I tell everyone I owe it all to the Zone.

3)    Dramatic Results From Zone Diet

After about 4 weeks on the Zone diet (which included making mistakes as I learned more about it) plus the Zone Omega 3 capsules (eventually 6 per day), my lipid profiles showed a dramatic change. (I also began walking 30 minutes daily without fail).  I began with a very high triglyceride level and an undesirable HDL level. After starting the Zone regimen, my triglyceride level decreased 80% to an extremely desirable level. My HDL increased by about 30% to the normal range. I have the before and after lab results to prove it.  I, for one, am glad that I decided to try the Zone before turning to medication with all its potential side effects and cost. Thank you for the dramatic results.

4)    My Secret Of Zone Diet

I just wanted to share with you that after moving back home, to NY from sunny Charlotte, NC, I relied heavily on "feel good" and "comfort" foods. Upon the realization that I was 35 pounds heavier than normal, I decided to diet and exercise regularly. Neither of those approaches worked for me. It wasn't until I encountered an old high school friend that I was aware of The Zone. She was always overweight and when I saw her I could barely recognize her as she had shed approximately 55 pounds! I inquired about her "secret" and she told me about Mastering the Zone. After reading the entire book I decided that selecting a few suggestions would be appropriate for my situation. In less that 5 months I lost 35 pounds! I went from wearing a size 14 to wearing a size 4!

Thank you! I feel great, look great and am very proud of my success. Whenever the opportunity arises, I share, with others, my "secret."

5)    Fountain of Youth

I'm 47, and I work in the office at my husband's auto repair shop and a few years back, I had two different customers ask me if I was his mother! Ouch! Well, I was overweight and prematurely gray and he hadn't changed much in the past twenty plus years, so I guess I could see why. So, I started coloring my hair, but had no effective plan to lose weight.

At one point I became acquainted with the Zone, but only toyed with it half-heartedly. Then two years ago my doctor informed that I was on my way to diabetes, if I didn't do something. He knew I didn't want to be on medication, so he gave me a chance to try to get my blood sugar under control with the Zone. So, I kicked it into high gear. I've lost 60 lbs., I feel great and my blood sugar is excellent!

One of the sweetest rewards of all was when, while working at my husband's shop the other day, one of his customers (seriously) asked if I was his daughter! I had to laugh out loud and once again sing the praises of the Zone.

 6)    It works

My husband and I started on the Zone diet in April after trying our round of other diets to lose weight. His boss, an avid health guru, suggested it. After the first few weeks, we got the hang of it and even managed to maintain it on a summer vacation with our kids up to Canada. Mark has lost forty plus pounds and has only ten more pounds to lose before his goal and I've lost thirty-five pounds but still have way to go yet (I started out with more to lose and he's much more dedicated  ). We both have felt great with changing our eating habits and have really gotten into the swing of making this a permanent lifestyle change. 7)    Is This For Real?

I've only been on the Zone for two weeks now. I started with the first starter kit for $98.00. I said what the heck, I've tried everything else from Atkins to WW to JC to now the Zone, guess you could say, from A (Atkins) to Z (Zone) and everything in between. However, on the weekends, I'd find that due to my active lifestyle and being constantly on the go that I'd make bad food choices and drink too much alcohol.

Since on the Zone, I feel better already, can sleep through the night and can think clearer. I eat and stay within the Zone and have 2 to 3 glass of wine every other night. I'm still losing weight and I haven't even started the exercise program yet. Hmmm? Finally something that works. It's not a gimmick, it's just a way to live and eat. Easy!
