Zone Diet
Recipe : Stir-fry Hawaiian Chicken
Ingredients for
Stir-Fry Hawaiian Chicken
3 oz. skinless
chicken breast strips for stir-fry [3P]
2 cup broccoli [1/2C]
3/4 cup pineapple [1 1/2C]
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch [1C]
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon olive oil [3F]
Preparation
Method for
Stir-Fry Hawaiian Chicken
Heat non-stick wok
or large pan until hot. Add chicken strips and cook until
browned. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup of water and cook until
broccoli is crisp tender. Push chicken mixture to the edges of
the pan. Combine 1/4 cup of water, soy sauce, cornstarch and
onion powder. Cook, stirring often, until thickened and bubbly,
about 2 minutes. Stir in sauce with the rest of the ingredients
in the wok and cook about 2 minutes more. Reduce heat. Stir in
pineapple, cover, and cook about one minute, or until heated
through.
