Zone Diet
Recipe : Grilled Chicken Salad
Ingredients for
Grilled Chicken Salad
1 salad made from
2 cups romaine lettuce, 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms, 1/2 cup sliced
tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped green or red pepper, and 1/4 cup
chopped onions [1C]
1 tablespoon olive oil and vinegar dressing (sprinkled with
garlic powder) [3F]
Lemon juice
3 oz. grilled chicken [3P]
Grated parmesan cheese, optional
Dash Worcestershire sauce
1 breadstick [1C]
1 cup sliced strawberries [1C]
Preparation
Method for
Grilled Chicken
Salad
Prepare salad.
Drizzle salad dressing over salad. Squeeze the lemon over the
salad. Season with Worcestershire sauce and grind pepper over
all. Toss until well combined. Place chicken on top. Drizzle
with cheese.
